The old houses section index a variety of houses. First, there are contry houses from past centuries, often made of stone from near fields, they often have a style that came from when Montreal island was under the French regime.

Other houses more luxurious, were chosen because they’ve belonged to famous people of Montreal city, or because it represents a unique architecture, in most cases designed by internationally renowned architects. Temporarily, this section also contains houses from modern architects.
