History and fact about this building
To understand the importance that had the construction of this building, we must take a look back in the 60ies with the famous slogan "Maîtres chez nous" from Liberal Jean Lessage.

Construction of the national electricity power company headquarters on this boulevard was putting at the same level Quebecois knowledge near Canadian institutions.

Several peoples find this building ugly or just ordinary but a zoom out is needed to evaluate the skyscrapers, the work of Gaston Gagnier, very modern with its curtains walls and a particular green.

This building is also known as the housing Prime Minister's office when it is in Montreal.

Hall wall sculptures of the building were made by Jean-Paul Mousseau.
