Location of the 500 Rene-Levesque West was once occupied by the Architect Building demolished around the late 50.

This building has long belonged to the Quebec Government. Many governmental corporations where instaled in the building. The government had put on sale in 2007. It is now (2010) managed by the company EDIFICE 500 RENE-LEVESQUE OUEST INC.
